Sometimes the most interesting and funniest things are unplanned. This is true for photos as well, especially photobombing. The camera can catch the perfect look of horror in the background of a photo taken for a special occasion. While it may ruin the moment, capturing a complete stranger strut by a meaningful marriage proposal can be comedic gold. Animals are not exempt from making an unplanned appearance.
They are sometimes caught rolling in the grass in front of a couple getting married, or even mid-leap while a tourist is getting the perfect shot. Either way, animals or people can really turn a photo into a funny work of art.
While the best photobombs are ones in which the person or animal accidentally enter into the frame, it’s just as funny when people purposefully photobomb someone else’s photo.
For example, it is hilarious to see an older man join a line of women posing on the beach as if he was just one of the girls. A couple could be sharing a special moment together, and a stranger’s head will pop up and ruin the sweet moment in the best way. These spontaneous moments inject levity into otherwise formal, serious, sweet, or standard photos. There is nothing boring or standard about photobombing.
