Not Proud of Her Accent
My heart will go on for the heart-wrenching classic, Titanic. But for the iconic actress, Kate Winslet who starred in the record-breaking blockbuster, can’t even stand her performance in the movie. The English actor looks back on the experience and was mortified by her American accent. In 2012, CNN spoke with Winslet and explained that she can’t bear to watch Titanic. “And even my American accent, I look at it and I’m like, ‘Ugh, I can’t even listen to myself.’ It’s awful, hopefully, it’s so much better now,” said Winslet.
